The SwimMark accreditation is Swim England’s recognised kite mark. This accreditation recognises high standards of governance, the development of effective and sustainable clubs and seeks to raise the quality of service provided by clubs. Any affiliated Swim England club can complete this accreditation, regardless of the size or discipline delivered by the clubs.
 

What SwimMark does:

• Creates the best possible aquatic experience for all individuals and members.

• Raises the quality provision across all areas.

• Provides National Sport England Clubmark recognition for great quality clubs.
   

Bridgefield Swimming Club first achieved accreditation in December 2014 and has successfully re-accredited since that date.
 

The club recently received its latest Accreditation in October 2023.

Bridgefield is a SwimMark Essential Club.
 

This is the primary module for clubs, and helps us achieve good governance, grow membership, develop volunteers and ensure our activities are sustainable and in line with the clubs’ objectives.
 

SwimMark is required to be completed by clubs each year as follows:
 

Year 1 – Full Accreditation (15 elements)
 

Year 2 – Health Check (6 elements)
 

Year 3 – Full Accreditation (15 elements)
